My friend Carrie recently purchased an old house in south Chicago. She was very pleased with her purchase, and got a great deal on the home, but she has a lot of work cut out for her. One of her major concerns is safety. She could have gotten them pre-fabricated, but by designing them herself she was able to get just the look she wanted. Installation was easy and relatively quick; the decorative iron shutters were in before she was.
The whole process of deciding to get decorative iron shutters, having her windows measured, designing and creating the shutters, and having them installed, was a key step for her to feel that her home was safe, beautiful, bright, and homey.
